Terms of Service

Who we are

These terms are between you and CleanScript (“we”). Write to us at mohamed@messaad.dev.

By creating an account or using the API, the MCP server or the web app, you agree to these terms.

What CleanScript does

CleanScript fetches public YouTube, TikTok and Instagram posts by URL and returns transcripts, structured fields and lists of recent posts. You can use it through the API, the MCP server or the web app.

Instagram and TikTok are in beta. They may be slower, less complete or unavailable at times. We do not promise that any post can be fetched.

Your account

• You sign in with email or Google. Keep your sign-in and your API keys private; you are responsible for what is done with them.
• Give us accurate information, and tell us if you think a key has leaked. You can revoke keys in the dashboard.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. If you use CleanScript for a company, you confirm you can bind it.

Credits and payment

• CleanScript runs on prepaid credits. There is no subscription.
• New accounts get 100 free credits. We may limit free credits to one account per person.
• Credit packs are one-time payments taken by Stripe. Each pack is valid for 12 months from purchase; credits left after that expire.
• Current prices and what each request costs are on the pricing page. We may change prices for future purchases. Credits you already bought keep their value.
• A request that fails is not charged. If you change your mind about a pack, write to us within 14 days of buying it and we refund the credits you haven't used. After that, packs aren't refundable unless the law says otherwise.
• Prices are in US dollars. Where a tax applies, checkout shows it before you pay.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use the content you fetch and the results you get back. In particular:

• Follow the terms of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and any other platform whose content you process.
• Respect copyright, privacy and other rights in that content. A transcript is a copy of someone else’s words; having it does not give you the right to republish it.
• Do not use CleanScript for anything unlawful, to harass anyone, or to profile people in ways the law forbids.
• Do not attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service, get around rate limits or credit metering, or resell raw access to it without our written agreement.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and tell you why when we can.

Results and accuracy

Transcripts and extracted fields are produced from the post’s own captions or from speech recognition, and corrected by AI models. They can contain mistakes. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.

Availability during the beta

CleanScript is a beta. We do not guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or error free, or that it will keep working with any platform. Platforms change and can block access without notice. We may change or remove features; we will try to give notice of big changes.

Our liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Your content and ours

You keep your rights in the URLs you send and the results you receive. You give us permission to process them only to run the service for you. CleanScript itself, its code and its brand belong to us. Platform names are trademarks of their owners; we are independent and not endorsed by them.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy.

Ending things

You can stop using CleanScript and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can end the service or your access with notice, except where you have broken these terms. If we shut the service down, we will refund unused credits from packs that have not expired.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, tell you by email or in the dashboard. If you keep using CleanScript after a change, you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the place where CleanScript is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the rights that the law of your own country gives you.
